Construction paper ( yellow, black, red, white, green)



Hole punch

Cut construction paper and assemble in a book form (yellow, black, red, white, green). Punch holes in book and tie together with yarn

Meaning of colors:

Yellow: In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Everything that He created was wonderful.

Genesis 1:31  NKJV    “Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”

Black: Everything was beautiful and wonderful, until sin entered into it. The Bible tells us that all have sinned. All means everyone of us.

Romans 3:23  NKJV   “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”

Red:  God loved us so much that He gave His only Son for us – Jesus shed His blood to wash away our sins.

I Corinthians 15:3  NKJV   “For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures”

White:  When we accept God’s gift of salvation, through Jesus, our sins are washed away.

Isaiah 1:18  NKJV   “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.”

Green: When you receive Jesus as your Savior you become a child of God. You are like a newborn baby in God’s family, and He wants you to learn more about Him and grow in your relationship with Him.

John 1:12  NKJV   “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name”
