Review and Reflections

1. Read Exodus 19:16-19. What were the people afraid of?

 

As God descended upon the mountain …

2. Read Exodus 19:20- 25.

You shall not covet.

4. Read Exodus 20:18-21. What did the people want Moses to do?

5. Read Exodus 21:22-26.The Lord told Moses that the people were not make gods of silver or gods of gold for themselves. Instead they were to  make an earthen _________ and sacrifice their burnt offerings and their peace offerings on it.

Dear Father,

You are never silent when I cry unto You. Thank-you for never leaving me alone. You are my Rock, my refuge, and my sanctuary. Truly, You are my strength and shield. I choose to listen only to Your voice. I will bless Your name and rejoice in You. By the power of the Holy Spirit, help me to always trust in You. May I never cease to praise You. Cause me to remember that You are there beside me, lifting me up when I fall down, and bringing me peace in all situations.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
