Dear Father,
Thank-you that You give ear to my voice when I cry out to You. My prayers are set before You as incense, the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. My eyes are upon You, O Lord. In You I take refuge, for You do not leave my soul destitute. You keep me from the snares the enemy lays for me. By the power of the Holy Spirit, set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth and keep watch over the door of my lips. Cause my heart not to incline to any evil thing or practice wicked works.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
