1. Rebekah wanted Isaac to sent Jacob to her brothers so that he would be safe from Esau’s wrath and to get a wife from among her people. What did Isaac say to Jacob concerning a future wife?


How did Esau respond to this?


2. On his way to Haran, Jacob stopped to sleep. As he slept what happened?

When he awoke from the dream, what did he say?

What did he name the place?

3. What did  Jacob ask the shepherds at the well?

4. When Rachael arrived at the well, what did Jacob do and say?

Dear Father,

I put my trust in You. Search my heart and cleanse me. By the power of the Holy Spirit help me to pass each test that I go through, bringing glory to You. Cause me to hate what You hate and to love what You love. May I walk upright before  You all the days of my life.
