Prayer Supplement To Arrows Bible Study “Born Into God’s Family”

STUDY 12Praying God’s Word

Hebrews 4:12 NKJV

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”

Write a prayer to God using the following verses, or parts of them.

John 1:12 NKJV

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

John 3:3 NKJV

“Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’ ”

John 3:16-17 NKJV

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

John 1:12 NKJV

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”

Romans 12:2 NKJV

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Matthew 12:33-37 NKJV

“Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. Brood of vipers! How can you , being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasures of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasures brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment, and by your words you will be condemned.’ ”

Ephesians 5:3-5 NKJV

“But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.”

Dear Father,

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dear Father,

I thank-you for the right to become Your child through receiving Jesus Christ. By accepting Jesus as my Savior and Lord I have became a new creation, old things have passed away and all things have become new. By being born again I have the promise that I will see Your kingdom. I am especially thankful that You gave Your Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. It is only through Him that salvation comes. May I truly be transformed by the renewing of my mind. By the power of the Holy Spirit, help me to bear good fruit and walk in holiness and righteousness.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
