1. The people building the tower of Babel wanted to become famous and make a name for themselves. They were motivated by pride and arrogance. By building a very tall tower they thought they could be as great as God. When God saw what they were doing He cam down and confused their language and scattered the people over the face of the earth. Why?

Can man ever be as great as God?

2. Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, and left Ur to go to the land of Canaan. Instead of going to Cannan they settled in _____________.

Dear Father,

You are my King and my God. When I pray You give ear to my words and You see what‘s in my heart. You have a multitude of  mercy and I will reverence and respect You. I will give unto You all my worship. I rejoice for I put my trust in You. I will ever shout for joy because You defend me. You bless me and surround me as a shield.
