Review and Reflections

1. Read 2 Samuel 23:24-39. These verses give the name of David’s ________________ men.



2. Read 2 Samuel 24:1-17. David told Joab and the captains of the to ____________ the people of Israel.

How long did it take them to count the people?

When David asked God to take away the iniquity of his counting the people, God gave him a choice of punishment. The three choices he had to choose from were:

Dear Father,

I desire to look into Your face, to the One who dwells in the heavens. Nothing but Your presence will satisfy. Thank-you for Your mercy and Your grace. Most of all thank-you for making a way for us to come into Your presence. By the power of the Holy Spirit, may I never get too proud to humble myself before You.
