Dear Father,
Your testimonies are wonderful and Your Words give light. Direct my steps by Your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me. Redeem me from the oppression of man, that I may keep Your precepts. Make Your face shine upon me and teach me Your statutes. Righteous are You, O Lord, and upright are Your judgments. Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness and Your law is truth. When trouble and anguish try to overtake me, Your Word is there to deliver me. By the power of the Holy Spirit, may my heart long to obey Your commandments. Fill me with a zeal for more of You and for more of Your Word. Give me understanding, that I may live in the fullness of what You have for me. May I meditate on Your Word and on Your lovingkindness.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
