1. Read Esther 4:1-17. Why did Mordecai tore his clothes and put on sackcloth and ashes?
When Esther was told about Mordecai she sent garments to him. When Mordecai would not accept the clothes, then Esther sent one of the king’s ____________________ to learn what and why this was.
